When Henry County resident Tina LaShure’s husband, Kreg Van Dam, died in 2000 after going into cardiac arrest, she was told that first responder access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machine could have saved his life. Wednesday morning, such a machine was donated to the New Castle Police Department.
