Bolt supports groups such as Mended Hearts, who provide meaningful support to cardiac patients

Different organizations with the same goal

Mended Hearts is the world’s largest peer-to-peer heart support group.  We are Hamilton County Mended Hearts Chapter 350 based out of Noblesville Riverview Health.

We are heart patients and their caregivers.  Our support group meets monthly and normally has a speaker that discusses a pertinent health issue.  Also, several members of our group volunteer at the hospital and visit patients at Riverview that are admitted for heart issues.  We encourage them on how to survive-just as we are surviving.

We recently became aware of Bolt for the Heart and decided that we both have the same goals—saving lives.

Working with Bolt, a member donated an AED to his church.  He arranged for CPR/AED training for church members and also promoted low cost heart scans.

He discovered that when the church members were made aware of the training and the scans, the response was very good.  AWARENESS IS AN IMPORTANT KEY TO SUCCESS

This led the Mended Hearts board to enroll in an effort to provide AEDs to non-profits in Hamilton County.  We provide an AED in exchange for their obtaining CPR/AED training and our promotion of heart scans.  ( We help them obtain the training at very low cost.)

WE ARE RAISING FUNDS TO DONATE  AEDs AND TO PROMOTE CPR/AED TRAINING AND HEART SCANS.

Our first AED was donated to the Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County.

We are ready to order our second unit.
